Fashion designer Sikandar Nawaz showcased his A/W 2014-15 Haute Couture Collection called Zubeida at The Grand, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. A scintillating range of clothes were unveiled at the Haute couture show presented by DD Developers in association with Reliance Property. Guest were spotted enjoying over cocktail including eminent personalities from the entertainment and social circuit including Amar Singh,Abhay Veer Singh, RamolaBachchan, Asmin Munjal, Bharat & Reshma Grover, Umesh& Meenakshi Dutt, Sylvie, Rohit Verma, Imam Siddique, Devika Sahni, Captain Richa Sood, Tehrima Zaki, Deepika Singh, Beenu Singh and many more.
Zubeida 2014 is all about grandeur, glamour and magnificence for the brides to be.The designer aims to offer a high impact platform for display and promotion of an exclusive range of Haute Couture through the private showing. Each garment has been carefully designed, and styled to facilitate the making of complete distinctive looks for the bride. From zardozi to dabka& from gota to Swarovski, various mediums have been used intricately to elevate the garment value. Speaking with media after launch of calendar Richa Maheshwari said, “We have been doing calendars since two years and I always stress on themes with which I could convey a message and not just leave it as a piece of fashion photography. I visit SPCA Noida and am always taken aback by the grueling state in which animals are brought there but thanks to the miraculous dedicated team, they have been recovering well. I was moved by their dedication and planned to do my bit by creating awareness through Anical, encouraging people to join hands in the effort to eradicate animal suffering. I believe to start with, even if I can stir people in my immediate circle against animal cruelty, my crusade against animal injustice shall begin and later I would like to reach out to the masses. It is a long battle where a lot needs to be changed and I am happy to plunge into it. My slogan is “Would It hurt you to care? It hurts them when you not”. In order to widen the presence in Indian fashion industry amazon.in collaborated with FDCI and becomes official title sponsor of the25th edition of the India Fashion Week (IFW). The collection had the earthiness of antique tribal silver fused with polki accents and Indian royal symbolic element peacock.The thread of the necklace is hand woven in black thread keeping the focal point to the pendant. With the shining disco balls and the cocktails flowing, designers Niket Mishra, Sadan Pande, Winky Singh- Rashima Singh and Amita Sharma presented their summer collection at Delhi’s elegant Japanese restaurant and lounge Benihanna at Nehru Place New Delhi on 3 June, 2015. FDCI designers Niket Mishra, Sadan Pande, Winky Singh & Rashima Singh and Amita Sharma showcased edgy, contemporary and classy designs of the season. Fashion fraternity turns out in full force at the Japanese lounge Benihana during Delhi leg of Summer Fashion Preview. The well known and celebrated designer Niket Mishra presented the hues of reds, navy blues, and whites and off whites on the runway. Asymmetric silhouettes, urbane aesthetic and fine fusion if texture are the trend of the season. Niket went with versatile versions of traditional weaves and played with geometric motifs through fluid and fitted formats.
Designer Sadan Pande brought the new collection CELEBRATING LIFE with its innocent doses of gold embellishment and hues of jewel tones. The modern, flirtatious collection with flowy drapes and silhouettes set the mood of summer with the designs. .
Similarly designer duo Winky Singh & Rashima Singh ‘ Ministry of design’ Spring Summer ’15 was an attempt to amalgamate ethnicity with modernity in order to create a fusion look with embellished skirts and chic crop tops in summer cool colours.
Young and aspiring Amita Sharma on the other hand dazzled the night with some unique, refreshing and flamboyant designs. Her flowy, pre pleated and cozy comfortable draped saris completed the fashion show with chic and urbane fusion. .

Padamshri Shahnaz Husain graced the evening as the chief guest and was greeted by IDP Events CEO Sanjay Besoya. Fashion Designer Sadan Pande, Winky-Rashima Singh and Arshi Jamal rocked the opening party of La Finesse 2015 with their exclusive Fashion installations. The participating designers at this year's La Finesse have designed edgy, classy and contemporary designs for the event. The bash was a veritable who's who of the fashion fraternity. Designers were seen rubbing shoulders with models and prominent personalities in Club BW at the Surya Hotel.
Partying till the wee hours, designers Huma Nassr from Pakistan, Amit Hansraj, Neelam Saxena, Gautam Gupta, Manish Gupta, Sadan Pande, Winky Singh and Arshi Jamal along with socialites Viresh Verma, Sanjay Nigam, Sanjay Besoya, Dinesh Aneja, Anuj Lalwani, Rajiv Gupta, Swagat Ranjan, Manuj Sharma models Kingfisher girl Kanchan Tomar, Ishika, Romika, Mahi, Puneet Dehran, Ankit Tyagi, Vivek Dhiman, stylist Kaajee Rai, choreographers Jagnoor Aneja, Varun Jhamb and many others were spotted .

Continuing the trend of bringing in the latest in kids entertainment, Hang Out, Capital’s most popular kids entertainment centre celebrated the addition of many new exciting games and rides to its Select City Walk centre. To mark the occasion a party was hosted to celebrate Timsy Anands daughter Paree's Birthday. It witnessed guests including Preeti Chandra, Socialite Pegna, Anuradha Prasad, Charu Singh, Chandni Nath, Dr. Chiranjeev Chabbra, Swati Pandey and Entrepreneur Charu Chawla among the others.
Kids were seen enjoying the exciting new additions that included Pacman Smash Air, Air Hockey, Batman Racing, Mario Kart, Water shooting games and added lower height games specially curated for the little ones along with Character ride games including Barney, Stuart little and Bob the builder.There were musical performances and a rainbow theme that added colour to the occasion.
Timsy Anand commented on the celebration of her daughter’s birthday, " Hang out was a delight to be at, it is a kids paradise. I thoroughly enjoyed celebrating my daughter's 2nd birthday at hangout."

Famous designer duo Ashima and Leena are taking inspiration from South India in form of motifs, jewels, fabrics and drapes, showcased their Bridal couture line titled “Dakshna” on second day of BMW India Bridal Fashion Week 2015 at Ambience Mall New Delhi. To give the true mood to the theme of the collection, Ashima and Leena's show commenced with a Kuchipudi dance performance which was choreographed by Padmabhushan awardees Raja and Radha Reddy. True to the essence of the in the dance performance, they presented their daughters Yamini and Bhavana Reddy.

The ramp wore a very traditional look, with chandeliers made from mogra flowers adorning the area as models walked out in bridal fineries.
“Through our collection Dakshna, we bring the same sense of purity and tradition for our brides. Inspired from the beauty of Southern India, this collection takes elements from the South in forms of motifs, jewels, fabrics and drapes, said Leena. The collection featured finely appliqued temple motifs on rich silks. Hand-embroidered jewelled motifs and borders added subtle illumination to the line. Organza, French net and specially woven south silk and brocades are the highlights of Ashima-Leena’s stunning collection. Embellishments included embroideries infused with semi-precious jewels and patterns of the temple jewelry, delicate and fine tassels border the hemlines of blouses and cuffs. The Colour Platte includes bright, intense, contrasting hues of indigo blue, crimson red, beige, fuchsia, marigold orange, mellowed gold, emerald-green, black and the quintessential South Gold.
"Re-invented lengths and patterns have take focus, with blouses, necklines, cowl drapes and layering of sheer fabrics. We have transformed the iconic lehanga-choli into a kaleidoscope of colours and patterns crafted for both the contemporary and the traditional bride," the designer said.
